Are you using AI in your content writing?
We believe in humans creating quality content that is embellished with elements of experience - an AI can’t draw from experience to give a case study example and the results, and as such any content we create is written in-house, although we do use Gemini for topic research.
For some projects we may use AI prompts to ease the load of bulk title-tag and description creation, and in that case we will let you know (as we will need to price accordingly), and we do vet and edit anything AI tools create for us.
Are your SEO audits simply SEO tool in-built site audits?
A 100% Site Audit score on a third-party tool like Ahrefs is meaningless and not something we work towards (unless it is a KPI a client needs to show investors etc). We crawl and audit using our own multi-point checklist that encompasses issues of differing priorities, and we design the SEO strategy around sorting out any fundamental issues first, then working on what will make the most impact for the website.
Can you help me sell GEO/AEO to my clients?
What clients call GEO in many ways is SEO wrapped a little differently, so while the work will largely be the same, the reporting will no doubt focus on AI citations and LLM referral traffic, and revenue from that channel. If that is what your client is looking for, we have experience in increasing citations in ChatGPT, Gemini and Google’s AI Overviews as well as other AI chatbots, and we will adjust our strategy accordingly to help deliver on such a KPI.
However we urge all web owners to consider that LLM traffic is usually less than a percent of traffic, so AI traffic being the be-all and end-all of website work is a less than sustainable strategy.
